Princess Gretel
Gretel is the Princess of Rem Sacchras, the Sweets Kingdom, Rem Sacchras. She has a twin sister named Hansel who is the Prince of Rem Boreas.
History[]
Gretel's kingdom was created by Alice to make seven kingdoms to create a seal on the Eld Witch. Rem Sacchras was ruled by evil and Alice sacrificed Gretel to it. Gretel's bitterness manifested in poison.
Gretel gives to Liddell her sigil and gives her the Vile Abyss rune. We found her at the Candied Palace sleeping. It turns out that a wicked witch gave her a poisoned apple. The Witch's curse caused her Nutcraker guard to fight off anyone who dared to try and wake up the princess.
Powers and Abilities[]
Gretel is likely immortal as she has lived for over one thousand years yet has remained a young child.
Gretel's anger created poison and the Vile Abyss rune. Her doll can cast a powerful vile spell that summons a toxic purple mist.
Trivia[]
- Gretel's name and relationship with Hansel is based on the German fairy tale, Hansel and Gretel.
- In the story, Hansel and Gretel are lured into a house of sweets owned by a child-eating witch, hence Gretel's connection to Rem Sacchras.
- Gretel is also based on the German fairy tale, Snow White.
- Like Snow White, Gretel fell into an enchanted sleep after eating a poisoned apple given to her by an evil witch.
